Art therapy

Creative approaches to inner life

Sometimes it is difficult put into words what moves us.

As a professor of the psychotherapeutic fundamentals of art therapy in the art therapy and theater therapy degree programs (HfWU Nürtingen-Geislingen), I have gained an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness of art therapy methods and have come to greatly appreciate them.

In my practice, I therefore use art therapy interventions when necessary and repeatedly see how this helps to make inner experiences visible and accessible—often in a light, playful way that would not be possible through purely verbal exchange.

Art therapy interventions are powerful — and fun too!
